Easter Egg hunt! Okay more like Easter Egg opening and closting of one egg at a time, and throwing out the candy that was inside the egg.

We went to an Easter party where Ry had fun eating more chocolate than he has ever had, cracking cascarones open and playing with Peter Cottontail. Most of the other kids were scared of him, but the whole party Ry kept walking up to the big bunny and waving hi. It was too cute!

After Easter dinner we took Ry out to the fields of bluebonnets.

Isn't he to die for?! The hat was a gift from his grandparents. We are teaching him to wear it by eating M&M's...hmmm, this could backfire on us.

Wrapping up 14 months

Ry's new hobby: pulling everything out of the pantry, sitting on the steps and snacking on whatever he can bite through the packaging of. Here we have the select delicacy of hot cocoa and V8.

Ry's new trick: opening all doors, going outside and trying to run into the street. Good Lord have mercy on us!

Last week the city repaved our cul-de-sac. Yeah! This made for great snacktime entertainment. I pulled Ry's highchair up to the front door and he was mesmerized.

In March we made a quick trip to Lubbock. Here are some pictures from that trip.

Ry keeps trying to climb onto the couch but just can't quite make it. One day I turned around and he had pushed this box up to the couch and had FINALLY found a way up!
